There is an excellent selection of historic vehicles at the Lakeland Motor Museum, housed in restored and converted historic industrial buildings – brilliant!
It is located close to the southern tip of Lake Windermere and the Lakeside Steam Train is a fabulous way to reach the museum. Should to find yourself driving though, the parking is free!
