Sunderland Maritime Heritage is dedicated to preserving the shipbuilding skills and history of the City of Sunderland.

You can immerse yourself in all things maritime and learn about Shelties and Navy Cutters. You can see the 1/10th scale model of H.M.S Venerable – the ship which Sunderland sailor Jack Crawford served aboard during the Battle of Camperdown. And also see M.F.V.  Willdora – a National Historic Fleet ship currently being restored.

There also run and are involved in several shipping events during the year, incluing the Tall Ships Race!

Sunderland Maritime Heritage is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am until 4pm.
